ABCya! is one of the most popular educational games websites among students in the various schools we work with. It offers students of all ages/grades educational games to teach them math, reading, and so on while having fun.

A few weeks ago, we learned that the company had raised its Flash requirements to the latest version offered by Adobe. But unfortunately, that latest version of Flash no longer works on older computers, including the ones PCF installs into classrooms.

In an email exchange with their support department, PCF outlined the state of technology in Philadelphia’s public schools, and by extension many other larger cities.

To our amazement, the company immediately lowered the minimum Flash requirements for all their games except the newest ones that utilize the latest features. So for the time being, teachers are able to direct their students to utilize this great website for their students in need.

We are truly grateful for ABCya!‘s great response (it was founded by a former teacher) and could only wish for Adobe and other companies to be so understanding and accommodating!
